It is also a great tool for large pet care operations, or franchises that would like to share a common reservation system across a business network.

What's New in the K9 Koordinator?

We would like to include some of the improvements that have been included in the K9 Koordinator since our last newsletter. The current release of K9 Koordinator Cheetah is version 6.0.450. If you are running behind, you want to be running the latest version! Use the K9 Bytes Updater to automatically check for and download the latest K9 Koordinator. Click here for instructions on how to dowload and use the Updater. Here is a list of changes since our last newsletter:

Reports

1. To facilitate identifying missed shifts and double-check day shifts we added the day of the week to the time clock report. The time clock report can now be also accessed from the edit time clock screen for convenience.
2. Service History report now displays employee that was marked as the employee who performed the service in addition to the employee who added the service.
3. Work schedule report can now be printed for each employee individually. You can access the work schedule report from ‘Set Up,’ ‘Employees,’ and ‘Work Schedule.’
   

Financial

1. Gift card payments in the ‘End of Day’ report will now show a message next to them in the payment summary that explains ‘GC payments don’t add total.’ Gift card payments were realized when the gift card was purchased.
2. Previous transactions and pending bills now show the check in time.
   

Boarding

1. There is a new option to exclude email confirmations being sent when booking a new boarding reservation. To access this option click on the ‘Settings’ icon in the boarding reservation screen.
2. Edit stay screen can now be accessed from the K9 Bytes Manager, from the check out toolbox.
   

Daycare

1. If a client has a half day package with 1 use left and the pet is staying for a full day, the system will now charge the half day daycare group rate instead of the full day rate.
2. For reference, a total number of daycare reservations now displays at the bottom of the advanced boarding vacancy screen.
   

Grooming

1. Added several minor improvements to the user interface if the grooming vacancy screen.
2. The grooming vacancy screen can now be accessed without selecting a starting date in the grooming reservation screen. If not date is selected the vacancy will default to the current date.
3. When editing grooming reservation, the duration can now be changed without the need to delete and re-create a new reservation.
4. Added two new grooming types for ‘Bath Services’ and ‘Hair Cut Services.’ These two options are designed for those clients who want services only without the full bath or hair cut.
5. Added an instructions icon in the reservation screen that can be used to visualize last grooming instructions for selected pets. Also, there is now an option to not include previous instructions as part of the new reservations being created.
   

Client Management

1. Pet records screen can now be accessed by double clicking an alarmed special instruction (yellow message on top of the pet’s profile).
